A WINN for Ku-ring-gai.

My Mission

  • Community

Ensuring Council provides the services, efficient decision making and recreational sporting and cultural infrastructure which bring communities together.

  • Collaboration.

Establishing a collaborative approach to meeting residential housing demands while respecting Ku-ring-gai's unique heritage and protecting its precious environment.

  • Action.

Driving employment in local businesses and lifting prosperity through a vibrant, diverse and connected community.

I’m a genuine local independent. I went to high school in Ku-ring-gai and for the past ten years I have lived in Gordon Ward with my husband, three sons and two rescue dogs.

I’m a renewable energy advocate and recognise the importance of protecting our unique heritage and natural landscape. Legally trained, I am a solutions orientated person who seeks innovative ideas and best practice to address issues. An energetic program manager and skilled facilitator, I take a collaborative approach to engage and work with all stakeholders to find a common purpose and goal, before focusing on and implementing a plan for a positive outcome.

My current employment involves working on a project focusing on smart city innovation, green infrastructure investment and ensuring our environment and natural resources are protected to make our cities sustainable and prosperous. We work with the Resilient Cities Network of which Great Sydney is a member (comprising 33 councils including Ku-ring-gai) and liaise with representatives from other global cities to learn what is best practice to make cities more resilient, sustainable and liveable.
